When you book or ask for a quote: your name or band name, email, phone if you give it, the service and time you chose, and the intake answers you fill in: a demo link, lyrics, chords, reference tracks, writer splits, whether the song uses samples, and whether it is registered with a performing rights organization.

When you make a login: your email and a password. The password is stored only as a one way hash. We cannot read it.

When you RSVP: your name, your email if you give it, and any feedback you choose to leave after the event.

While a project runs: the notes you and the engineer leave, your recordings and the files made from them, and what has been paid.

When you rent a room: your rental agreement, your rent and payments, and the list you keep of the other people on your room, with each one’s full name and a phone number or email. If someone listed you, the studio uses your details only to know who is covered by that agreement and to reach you about the room.

When you use a listening link an artist sent you: the name you type and the notes you leave on the song. No account and no email. The name is also remembered in your own browser so you do not have to retype it.

Automatically: one session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short time. Because that one cookie is all there is, and nothing on this site loads from an advertising or analytics company, there is no cookie banner to click.

We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or social media pixels.

To hold your time, prepare for your session, deliver your files, take payment, answer you, and ask how it went. That is all.

Railway hosts the app. Turso hosts the database. Stripe processes payments. Google delivers our email. The typeface is served from this site, so reading a page sends nothing to anyone else. Each of them handles your information only to provide that service to us.

That is the whole list of companies that process your information for us, as of 12 October 2026: Railway (hosting and server logs), Turso (the database), Stripe (payments and, for tenants who choose it, automatic rent), Google (email). If it changes, the list and this date change with it.

If you are a business that needs a data processing agreement from us, email the address below and we will send a one page one: what we process for you, the list above, and deletion on request.

We do not use your recordings, notes or details to train any automated system, and no feature here sends them to one.

We share information when the law requires it, and not otherwise.

Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Project notes and intake answers are kept so returning clients do not start from zero. Recordings and files are removed from our online server after the download deadline you are given when they are released. Like any studio, we may keep our own working copies of session material offline; we do not promise to, so keep your own backups. Ask and we will delete what we are not required to keep.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to spacecampstudios1@gmail.com from the email on your booking and we will answer within 30 days.

If you have a login, you can download a copy of everything we hold about you yourself, any time, from My studio or My room, without asking.

Bookings are made by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13. If a minor is recording, a parent or guardian makes the booking and gives us the details.

The site runs over an encrypted connection, passwords are hashed, payment details never touch our servers, and staff access is limited by role. No system is perfect. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

If what we collect changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
