Terms of booking and use
These are the terms you agree to when you book time, apply for a room, RSVP to an event or use this website and app. They are written to be read.
Last updated 20 September 2026. Spacecamp Studios is operated by 5thn Music LLC, 818 SW 7th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79101.
Who we are
Spacecamp Studios is operated by 5thn Music LLC in Amarillo, Texas. “We” and “the studio” mean that company. “You” means the person booking, and any band or group you book for.
You must be 18 or older to book. If the artist is under 18, a parent or guardian books, agrees to these terms, and stays responsible for the minor in the building.
Deposits and payment
A 50% deposit reserves your date and time. It comes off your final balance. It is not refundable. Nothing is held until the deposit clears.
The balance is due when the work is complete. Final files are released only after the balance is paid in full. Rough tracking and review mixes may be shared earlier at the studio’s discretion.
Time or services beyond what was quoted are quoted and agreed before they are billed. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Moving or cancelling a session
Give us at least 24 hours notice before your start time and your session moves to a new time and your deposit moves with it. With less than 24 hours notice, or if you do not show up, the deposit may be forfeited.
Arriving late does not extend the session unless we agree to it. If the studio has to cancel, you choose between a new time and a full refund of what you paid for that session.
Your music stays yours
You keep ownership of your songs, performances and recordings. The studio claims no ownership of anything you make here. Session templates, workflows and processes the studio built remain the studio’s.
You confirm that you have the right to record what you bring, including any samples, beats or lyrics, and you are responsible for clearing them. You are also responsible for writer splits and for registering your work.
Unless you ask for confidentiality in writing before the session, the studio may use your name, artist name, project title, photos and short audio or video excerpts to show its work. We will not release unreleased material ahead of your release date.
Files and backups
Download and back up your files when they are released to you. The studio does not guarantee long term storage of session files.
In the building
Only the people on the session come in, unless we agree otherwise ahead of time. No weapons, no illegal drugs, no smoking indoors, no alcohol unless the studio has approved it. Children come only with advance approval and supervision. Food and drink stay away from the equipment.
You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause to the building or the gear. The studio may end a session without a refund for conduct that breaks these terms or puts people or equipment at risk.
Your own instruments and equipment are your responsibility while they are in the building. The studio’s insurance does not cover them.
Rehearsal rooms and weekly holds
A weekly hold is an application. It is not a booking until the studio approves it. One person pays for the room. The evening runs 6pm to midnight. Gear goes home with you between sessions. Keep the door code inside your band, lock up, and leave the room as you found it.
Events
An RSVP holds a seat, not a specific chair. Past the listed capacity you join a waitlist. The studio may refuse entry or ask someone to leave.
This website and app
We work to keep the site and the app accurate and available, but they are provided as they are. Times shown as open can be taken before you finish booking. If the site shows a price or a time in error, we will tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape other people’s information, or book under a false identity.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, the studio’s total liability for any claim connected to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. The studio is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost opportunities or a missed release date.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes are heard in the courts of Potter County, Texas. If we change these terms, the new version applies to bookings made after the date at the top of this page.
