A studio under four names.
The building went up in 1950 as offices. It has been a recording studio since about 2010, first as Devil’s Rope Studios, then NueWave Recording, then Animal Kingdom Recordings and Spacecamp.
Spacecamp Studios has been run by Grant Fithen since 2023. The name came with the building, and it stayed.
Ten rooms share the address today: the studio room, the podcast room, band rehearsal rooms, a photo studio, a guitar repair bench, and Launchpad Music Academy. Loud and Heavy Booking works out of the building too.
