Spacecamp is a private building with sessions, lessons and bands working in it. There is no front desk and no walk in. Every visit is a time somebody already holds.

The building
A studio under four names.
The building went up in 1950 as offices. It has been a recording studio since about 2010, first as Devil’s Rope Studios, then NueWave Recording, then Animal Kingdom Recordings and Spacecamp.
Spacecamp Studios has been run by Grant Fithen since 2023. The name came with the building, and it stayed.
Ten rooms share the address today: the studio room, the podcast room, band rehearsal rooms, a photo studio, a guitar repair bench, and Launchpad Music Academy.
In the room
The people on the session. Guests and children by arrangement ahead of time.
No smoking indoors, no alcohol unless it has been agreed, and food and drink stay away from the gear.
The session ends when it was booked to end. Arriving late does not move the finish.
